Holden Specialist Vehicles was a collaboration between Holden and Tom Walkinshaw Racing. The VT was based on the Holden Commodore, and this Series II model is powered by a 335bhp Chevrolet LS1 V8 engine with GM 4L60-E 4-speed transmission. It comes with a recent MoT which is valid to 29th July 2027. Highly sought after in Australia, this example is distinguished by its uncracked dash and impressive overall condition. Its black leather interior features sports seats, original stereo, tyre gauge and tool set, cruise control and air conditioning. The exhaust has an X-Force rear box, but the original HSV boxes are included with the car, as is the standard air filter which has been replaced with a cone filter. The vendor, who has maintained the car himself, tells us it has just received a new Yuasa battery and HSV rear brake pads, and the alternator and starter voltages have been checked. He also advises that the boot struts need replacing (Vauxhall Omega items apparently fit and are available), and the air con probably needs re-gassing. The car was brought to the UK from Australia in 2008 and has been MoT tested every year since, mostly without advisories. Its history file contains a large collection of maintenance receipts dating from the car's time in the UK, with papers including its VOSA registration number certificate. The V5C shows only 1 former UK keeper, the vendor having acquired the car in 2013. The odometer shows 113,679, which is a combination of kilometres and miles as the odometer was converted to imperial in 2007 (invoice included). We're told the car has in fact covered 74,017 miles, of which 8926 were in the UK.

It has four new tyres and the wheels have been refurbished. A new wiper motor has also been fitted but is not yet connected.” The V5C indicates only 3 former keepers. The first recorded change of keeper was in 1983, and the next owner held onto the car until 2019, apparently keeping it in storage for 30 years. The original interior was renewed with black and red vinyl trim, and we're told a bare-metal respray was undertaken. The vendor, who acquired it in 2020, reports that it runs well and is reliable. "During my ownership, the car has been fitted with a new water pump, refurbished ‘Tarantula’ alloys, new rear lights, bushes, door seal and gear linkages," he says. The odometer shows 131,539 miles. Paperwork includes a good collection of MoT certificates, various receipts going back to the 1990s, original factory record cards, and the V5C. The vendor advises that there is a small (1cm) nick in the rear of the black mohair roof. The MoT expired in 2022, but as a historic vehicle it is now exempt from annual testing requirements.

The car also benefits from recent front discs, calipers and copper pipes, rear shoes, brake cylinders and adjusters, Goodridge braided hoses front & rear, new halogen headlights, new tyres and stainless wheel nuts. The front suspension has also been rebuilt with new polybushes, new Spax shocks and new springs. The odometer is showing 75,382 miles. The vendor, who has owned the car since 2019, tells us it has been “home maintained to a high standard with regular oil changes”. The engine size is recorded as 1098cc, offering better drivability than the original 948cc unit. It comes with new tyres and battery, and the Minilite wheels have been refurbished. The positive-earth electrics have been changed to negative earth, and the ignition is electronic. The car is equipped with electric screenwasher, inertia-reel seatbelts and flashing indicators. (The original trafficators have been disconnected.) Oil pressure and water temp gauges are fitted, and the vendor says they indicate good pressure with no overheating. “The car starts on the button and there's no smoke on start-up, running or over-run,” we're told. The odometer was zeroed at the same time of its restoration, and now reads 5800 miles. The history file contains a good collection of receipts from 2013 onwards (one showing a new steering rack in 2020), various photos, spare keys, a photocopy of the original logbook, and a framed Heritage Certificate. This confirms that the car is an original RHD convertible, built in September 1959. Papers also include club magazines, a workshop manual and a printed list of previous owners showing that the car spent the first half of its life in the West Country.

It's supplied with a detailed, hand-written record of work carried out, plus a collection of invoices and a description of its modifications. These include a modified 100E engine with larger inlet valves, 105 Anglia 4-speed gearbox, 107E Prefect axle, electronic ignition, electric fan, polyurethane bushes, double front anti-roll bar, and many smaller details. The odometer shows 19,797 miles, which is believed to equate to 119,797. Spare keys are present, and the V5C indicates 4 former keepers.

This Leyland Mini 1000 has been registered to the vendor since 1985, and is being sold as a restoration project. She is the 3rd owner from new, and in her tenure the car received a complete rebuild in 1997-99 before being taken off the road again in 2006 for more work to be carried out, but the project was never completed. The car has been kept under a cover ever since, and we're told that any parts removed are stored inside the car. The vendor has given an honest appraisal of what is here, and advises that the body requires work in the usual Mini places: sills, rear valance, front scuttle, wings and front panel. A new rear valance and valance ends are inside the car, plus an offside-front wing. The seats and trim are from a later Mini Mayfair and should just need a good clean. The engine is the original 998cc unit and has been fitted with a duplex timing chain, a modified 850 head with hardened exhaust valve seats, and electronic ignition. The dynamo has been replaced with an alternator, and the gearbox is the original but the synchromesh is worn an the case may be cracked. The paperwork file consists of a few parts receipts from its original rebuild, MoT certificates going back to the 1980s, an old photo of the car mid-restoration, V5C showing 2 former keepers, and a careful hand-written record of all work achieved on the car since 1997. It returned to the road after its previous rebuild at 68k miles, and today the odometer shows 83,212.

Some of these images show the car before its restoration, when it was painted black. Today the odometer is showing 66,808 miles. The registration number is non-transferable.

This Land Rover Defender 110 Station Wagon is finished in Keswick Green and shows 1 former keeper on its V5C. It's sold complete with its roof rack, and the odometer shows 111,907 miles. The latest MoT was passed with no advisories and remains current to 11th November 2026. The vendor tells us: "We bought it in 2017 from Foley's (a Land Rover specialist) who had bought it from the MoD. As far as we know, the MoD was the only previous owner, and they used it as a perimeter patrol vehicle. We have used it for several month-long trips to the Alps, and have had it regularly serviced." The Land Rover is supplied with its 2017 invoice from Foley's (which notes that the chassis had been wax oiled), together with the MoD end-of-lease document, a handbook pack and a service record containing 10 stamps. The latest service was logged in March this year, less than 100 miles ago. We are told that the Land Rover has a recent starter motor, and that the immobiliser was replaced a few years ago. The accompanying Heritage Certificate confirms that the car remains true to its original spec; it was built in May 1972 and despatched to a dealer in Wiltshire, finished in Pimento Red with a Black Ambla interior, automatic transmission, optional heater and inertia-reel seatbelts. The Stag is supplied with a photo album showing restoration work, and its history file contains a good collection of MoT certificates and maintenance receipts. These cover the period from the mid-1990s up to 2021 when over £3600 was spent on wide-ranging improvements within the engine bay, and to the brakes, drivetrain and elsewhere. This work was documented in various videos on the Church House Classics Youtube channel. Receipts also show that the engine was rebuilt by a Triumph specialist in 1997. Today the odometer is showing 95,228 miles. The history file is supplemented by an original repair operations manual and a Haynes manual. The current V5C is not present, so the next owner will need to apply to the DVLA for a new one.

The engine is fitted with an electric cooling fan, twin carbs and a sports exhaust system (with J-tube delete), and the interior features new front seats from a modern Mini, and a diesel heater. The odometer shows 9120 miles, although this is likely to signify 109,120. The car was originally sold by a dealer in Lancashire in January 1972. It comes with a well stamped service record up to 100k miles in 1989, together with a good collection of old receipts, a few tax discs and old MoT certificates. The latest MoT expired in 2019, although a historic vehicle it is now exempt from testing requirements. The file also contains original sales materials and a workshop manual.

The car has been owned by our vendor for the last couple of years, and its odometer is showing 50,316 miles. The history file contains a few old MoT certificates and receipts, one describing its £4k bodywork restoration as follows: “Repaint including strip and refit of all appropriate parts, stripping down all four doors and treating them. All four doors have had new sections welded on the bottoms. All panels and the shell have been taken back to bare metal. Some areas were treated with a rust preventer and etch-primed. After a high-builder primer, the car was painted in Jaguar Claret Red. After its base coat, the car had several layers of clear coat." Although this invoice mentions Claret Red, it appears to wear its original shade of Opalescent Maroon, this being the shade which appears on the car's original green logbooks. The car is also supplied with a few spares and an original toolkit, and a service book which records 10 services in the first 23k miles up to 1972. It was first registered in Blackburn in July 1966. As a historic vehicle the car is MoT exempt, but it passed a voluntary MoT without advisories in 2023. The vendor reports there are “absolutely no mechanical or electrical issues”. It comes with a few wiring diagrams and some guidance relating to the original build. The DVLA will need updating, as the V5C still records this as a Jaguar XJ6 Saloon built in 1971.

This rare, globetrotting Mitsubishi Pajero Evolution has been used on long-distance rallies including in South America and South Africa. It began life as a homologation special, one of 2500 built to homologate the Pajero for the Paris-Dakar rally, complete with a 275bhp, 3.5-litre V6 MIVEC engine, Tiptronic automatic transmission, air conditioning and Recaro seats, which remain in place. It was imported to the UK in 1999, and acquired by our vendor in 2013. The car has been MoT tested every year and the current certificate is valid to 22nd June 2027, the only advisory being to mention that the rear seat has been removed. Modifications include a full roll cage with side bars, race harnesses, Brantz trip meter and an additional fuel tank to give a range of up to 700km. Our vendor describes the car as “fully maintained and ready to go again”. It comes with spare keys, V5C showing 4 former keepers, and a huge history file comprising MoT certificates and maintenance receipts from throughout his tenure. These include a receipt for a full engine rebuild (complete with a new crankshaft) in 2017. The odometer shows 159,515 kilometers (99,118 miles). The HPI report indicates that this car has a tracker fitter.

Finished in Surf Blue, this lovely Mini was generously restored in 2013-16 by a retired aircraft engineer who invested over £22k in the work. Virtually every part of the car was either renewed or refurbished, and the odometer was zeroed, but it remains a “very original” example of a genuine Mk1 Mini Cooper S. The only significant alteration from its original spec is the gearbox, which is an all-synchromesh unit from a slightly later Mini. Following the car's authentication by the Cooper Register, the DVLA issued a new VIN and the current registration number. (The authentication report describes the car as being built in October 1964, but the DVLA database gives the year of manufacture as 1965.) The vendor purchased the Mini at one of our sales in 2019 when the odometer was showing 550 miles; today that figure is 2024 miles. It comes with a photo album of good-quality images documenting the restoration, together with spare keys and a large stack of invoices from 2014 onwards showing an impressive ongoing care. These include a receipt for a recent oil change in July 2026.

Clearly it is being auctioned as a project for recommissioning / restoration, but given its unmolested condition and odometer reading of just 29,480 miles, it's proven to be quite a nostalgia magnet. The high-spec SDL interior includes brown and gold vinyl trim, and the car appears clean and relatively solid overall (although we can not offer any guarantee). The engine will turn over, but we haven't driven the car. There have been 5 registered keepers from new, the latest having acquired it in 2014. Its latest MoT expired in 2016. Registration number is EFZ774.
